"My name is Gerry Morgan, or, "the zenman" by those who know me. This is not because I have reached some level of calm and oneness with all, that's what the Prozac is for,...but because I play the Zendrum...which is great fun.

  I live in Wakefield, just north of Ottawa, Canada on the Gatineau River with my wife Estelle. 

I am a career musician and more recently an engineer and producer. My secondary activity, (day gig) is Internet Content Management and Community Building...leverage all the power of the Internet.

We currently live in Wakefield Quebec and have been blessed with  three children...Kristopher, Frederick and Sarah...now all grown up and on their own.

Through out my 30+ years as a professional musician I have always been fascinated by digital drums and as a result I have used every type of pad set and module from the early days when Simmons hit the market. 

And then,  I came across the Zendrum ...had to have one...and have had a lot of fun....yes I too suffer from that rare male / musician's diesease...more toys

 Imagine as a drummer being the last to arrive and set up in 15 minutes and the first to tear down...(10 minutes max.) and out the door with your back intact, a case in one hand, and a beverage in the other... Sweeeeeeeettttttt. This is where I got my nick name. Of course nothing can replace the love I feel for my acoustic drums. My kit is a beautiful black and gray mother of pearl Premier Series kit with Sabian hats and cymbals. I still have the same crashes I got 20 years ago when I had the chance to tour the new Sabian drum company in Meductic, New Brunswick."
